SRI Central Office Manager Application
Salt River Intergroup (SRI) is a nonprofit group established to carry out functions common to Alcoholic Anonymous Groups in the Phoenix Metro Area and is Maintained and supervised by these groups.
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday with the addition of the 1st and 2nd Tuesday evenings. The primary responsibilities are to oversee daily Central Office Operations, to work with and train office volunteers and staff. In addition, respond to inquiries in person or by email, prepare materials for two monthly in-house business meetings. Maintain Store inventory. Assist and be of service to other associated Service Committees, including special events, website, newsletter, and after-hours coordinator (if needed).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage office maintenance and cleanliness.
- Use of computers for various applications for management and word processing.
- Ensure that all supplies and equipment are in good operating, working condition.
- Maintain organizations’ database, including confidential donor information and contact lists.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to staff and volunteers.
- Direct inquiries either phone calls or electronic correspondence to appropriate groups or individuals.
- Assist with event planning and coordination.
- Prepare reports and presentations as needed by SRI.
- Attend two monthly meetings in support of SRI/Intergroup as Office Manager representative.
Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with staff, volunteers and any stakeholders.
- Respond to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with internal and external communications, including monthly newsletter and social media.
Qualifications:
Minimum five (5) years of continuous sobriety and participation in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) are required at the time of submission of application and resume. Do you meet this requirement? If so, please provide your AA Sobriety date upon submission.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Working knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven experience in office management, administrative support, or related field is a plus.
- Experience in a non-profit setting is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
